Welcome to StudyPilot. By accessing or using our website, tools, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use StudyPilot.


1. About StudyPilot

StudyPilot provides AI-powered study and academic assistance tools including but not limited to:

  • AI note processing and summarization
  • AI detection and plagiarism detection tools
  • Study planning and productivity tools
  • Paraphrasing and academic writing assistance tools
  • Flashcards, quizzes, and learning tools

Some features may be released as early access or beta features and may change or be removed.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use StudyPilot.

By creating an account, you confirm:

  • You provide accurate information
  • You will not share your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account

3. Free vs Paid Access

StudyPilot offers both Free and Pro subscription access.

Free Access

Includes:

  • Limited tool usage
  • Limited processing volume
  • Access to core features

Pro Subscription

Includes:

  • Higher or unlimited usage limits
  • Access to premium tools
  • Early feature access
  • Priority feature releases

Features and pricing may change over time.


4. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are processed securely through third-party payment providers such as Stripe.

By purchasing a subscription:

  • Payments may be recurring (monthly or annually)
  • You authorize automatic billing until cancellation
  • You can cancel anytime through your account or payment provider

Refunds are not guaranteed unless required by law.


5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload illegal or harmful content
  • Upload copyrighted material without permission
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the platform
  • Abuse AI systems or generate harmful content
  • Use StudyPilot for malicious, fraudulent, or illegal purposes

Accounts violating these rules may be suspended or terminated.


6. Academic Integrity & Responsible Use

StudyPilot is designed to support learning, revision, and productivity.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of StudyPilot complies with:

  • Your school, university, or institution rules
  • Academic integrity policies
  • Examination and coursework regulations

StudyPilot is not responsible for academic penalties, misconduct claims, or institutional violations resulting from misuse of AI tools.

Users should always review AI generated content before submission or use.


7. AI Generated Content Disclaimer

StudyPilot uses artificial intelligence technologies.

AI outputs:

  • May contain errors
  • May be incomplete or outdated
  • Should not be relied on without review

StudyPilot does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or academic suitability.


8. Data Storage & Processing

We may store:

  • Uploaded documents
  • Generated results
  • Account and usage data

This is required to operate the service.

9. Third-Party Services

StudyPilot may rely on third-party providers, including:

  • AI processing providers (e.g., OpenAI)
  • Payment providers (e.g., Stripe)
  • Detection providers (e.g., Copyleaks, Winston when enabled)

We are not responsible for third-party outages or service interruptions.


10. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • Terms are violated
  • Fraud or abuse is suspected
  • Platform misuse is detected

11. Limitation of Liability

StudyPilot is provided "as is" and "as available."

We are not liable for:

  • Academic penalties
  • Loss of data
  • AI output errors
  • Service downtime
  • Third-party service failures

Use StudyPilot at your own risk.

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of StudyPilot means you accept updated Terms.
